Mike Donaldson

Founder

Born and raised in Sonoma County. Mike stayed close to his roots where he started Global Garden Friends.

Before dedicating his time to indoor and outdoor gardening, Mike worked in the family Tire Recycling business, then onto becoming a Real Estate Investor and Contractor, later realizing he would rather be involved in a different aspect of business.

He and his business partner started a retail shop (WEST COAST BOARD WEAR) in Sonoma County from the ground up, later selling his share to start his own company and focusing on the products he wanted to create and ones that he felt needed improvement.

Mikes real enthusiasm is in research and development. And one of his passions and pleasures is taking a conceptual idea into the market place for everyone to utilize and enjoy.

Jeannie VandeWeg

 

Jeannie VandeWeg

Jeannie was born and raised in Sonoma County. She is married to her husband Glenn, has two daughters and lives in Sebastopol, CA on a small farm.

With a background in Office Administration and owning an Organizing business, Jeannie likes to have things in order. Being the oldest of five may have driven her in that direction.

Jeannie started her career as an intern in an office, learning all aspects of how an office is ran. She then decided to add sales to her resume and worked for a retail store, but realized she rather work in the stockroom and get it organized – and she did. She continued in Office Administration and sales for over 10 years before taking some time off to have her two girls. Since then she has continued to help people organize their home and offices with the launch of her business in 2003.

 Keenan Soares

Keenan is a new addition to the Global Garden Friends joining in 2011 to help manage the growth of the company by working on strategic projects related to planning, logistics, operations, sales and marketing.
After 4 years at California State University, Chico Keenan obtained a BS in Business Management with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. Soon after, he involved himself with the Small Business Development Center to further his knowledge in the field of Entrepreneurship.
